Promising studies that are ongoing or studies that have longer term data are welcome, as are studies that serve as lessons for best practices in eliminating health disparities. Original research articles as well as evolutionary reviews presenting the state-of-the-art thinking on problems centered on health disparities will be considered for publication. The series is a live-action reimagining of the beloved Nickelodeon animated series, which follows Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire and Air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation.
Netflix’s synopsis for the series reflects the opening narration from the original animated series, introducing how the Fire Nation upset the balance between the Nations of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air when they launched the attacks on the rest of the world. After a break-neck pace throughout season 1, the shocking ending also helped to set up the plot of season 2. European Journal of Epidemiology, published for the first time in 1985, serves as a forum on epidemiology in the broadest sense. It is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to all fields of epidemiologic research and to epidemiologic and statistical methods. The series followed Aang as he discovered his role as the Avatar – the only one who can bend all four elements, earth, fire, air and water – and fled his home, before he took on the responsibility of saving the world. That series ran from 2005 to 2008 and, despite there only being three seasons, had an incredible impact on fans around the world.
